But I’m guessing if you’re here, you’re really curious about the person behind this site and the keyboard.

Well, for starters, my name is Linzee. I’m born and raised in Minnesota. Gardening has been always been a core foundation of who I am: in elementary school, I wrote letters to my Grandma asking for money for seeds from the Gurneys catalog. Since then I’ve grown thousands of plants, toured hundreds of gardens, hosted garden tours, workshops and presentations… and now life has given me a new opportunity: to explore Minnesota’s metro areas and highlight the amazing horticulture and botanical things it has to offer.

So why am I blogging? Why not just do the thing?

I love sharing. If I can get you mutually excited about horticulture, it makes my world that much more happier. Let’s explore this amazing city together.
